Naan Bread

  • Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup warm Water
    • 3tsp granulated Sugar
    • 1 sachet of active dry Yeast
    • 3/4 cup of Milk
    • 3/4 cup plain Yoghurt
    • 1/4 cup of Vegetable Oil
    • 4 1/3 cups of plain Flour
    • 1tsp Baking Powder
    • Garlic Butter
    • Coriander
    1. Activate the yeast by putting it into the warm water.

    2. Leave aside for 5 minutes.

    3. Pour the sugar, flour, the vegetable oil, the yogurt and the milk into a bowl and knead for 10 minutes to create the dough.

    4. Leave to prove for 30 minutes - 1 hour.

    5. In the meantime mix the garlic butter with fresh coriander and any other spice you like.

    6. Roll balls of dough into naan shapes and cook on a very hot pan for 1-2 minutes.

    7. Brush the garlic butter on the naan and then cook again to 30 seconds.

    8. Take off the heat and serve it! The curry suits them amazingly!
