Nutella Cookie Pie

  • Ingredients

    Equipment

    • a round tin
    • a bowl and a spatula or a mixer

    Ingredients

    • 200g unsalted butter – room temp (out of the fridge 1 hour before)
    • 250g light brown sugar
    • Add 1 egg
    • Vanilla essence

    Dry ingredients

    • 320g plain flour
    • Bicarbonate of soda
    • Add 200g chocolate chips
    • 350g of NUTELLA
    • More chocolate chips for the topping
  • First, we wash our hands and preheat the oven on. For this recipe you will need the fan oven at 180°. 


    1. Cream together 200g unsalted butter (room temp - out of the fridge 1 hour before) and 250g light brown sugar.

    2. Then add vanilla essence.

    3. And 320g plain flour and bicarbonate of soda and fold until combined.

    4. Add the 200g of chocolate chips and fold in.

    5. Take out a 1/3 for the lid of the pie.

    6. Press the rest into a tin.

    7. Create a lip around the edge.

    8. Add 350g of NUTELLA and smooth it all out.

    9. Place the cookie dough lid and seal the edges.

    10. Add more of the chocolate chips to the top and bake for around 40-45 minutes.
