St. Patric's Day Treats

  • Ingredients

    Equipment

    • a tin to add the treats too, can be any type of tin, round or square
    • a bowl and a spatula

    Ingredients

    • 50g of butter
    • x2 boxes of rice crispies
    • lucky charms
    • food colouring of your choice (we used green)
    • 400g of marshmallows of your choice
    • chocolate to drizzle
    • sprinkles of your choice
  • 1. Melt the butter over the pan.

    2. Add the marshmallows and melt them in the pan.

    3. Add the rice crispies.

    4. Remove from the hob and work quickly to add the rice crispies. 

    5. At the end, add the lucky charms.

    6. Add butter to the tin to ensure it doesn’t stick.

    7. Flatten them out in a tin.

    8. Place in the fridge for them to set.

    9. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in the microwave until soft.

    10 Remove the crispie treats from the fridge and then drizzle the melted chocolate.

    11. Add the sprinkles and eat lots.
